"The Politico notes that former House speaker Newt Gingrich, a potential 2008 GOP presidential contender, is adding staff at his American Solutions for Winning the Future group -- including a pollster.
But Gingrich's aides say it's not part of a gearing up to run for the White House. They say they're getting ready for "Solutions Day" on Sept. 27 -- the 13th anniversary of the GOP's "Contract With America.""
