Polls show Obama, Hill tied in NH, Iowa
Excerpt:
"With just three weeks until the first primary ballots are cast, Democratic front-runner Sen. Hillary Clinton now faces the possible nightmare of losing both of the earliest-voting states as new polls showed her in a statistical dead heat with surging Illinois Sen. Barack Obama in New Hampshire.
“It could be Obama will gain enough steam to go all the way,” said Larry Sabato, director of the Center for Politics at the University of Virginia.
“It could also be Hillary Clinton could turn into 2008’s Walter Mondale,” Sabato said, meaning the Democratic machine could manage to pull her across the finish line as it did Mondale in 1984."
